Pound Hill Software Updates MetaGrove Dialog for Ghent PDF Workgroup Ad Ticket

Anaheim, CA – July 13, 2009

Pound Hill Software, a leading developer of metadata software tools, has updated its MetaGrove dialog for Ghent PDF Workgroup (http://www.gwg.org/) Ad Ticket to v1.1 and Delivery Note v1. This MetaGrove dialog was first released Nov 2001. This update incorporates Ghent PDF Workgroup update from v1 to v1.1 that was published Nov 2008. It also incorporates the new Delivery Note v1(revision2) published July 2009. MetaGrove is a software suite of products that provides custom XMP metadata capabilities to users of Adobe Creative Suite CS2 and CS3.

Ghent PDF Workgroup (GWG) Ad Ticket Standard

GWG Ad Ticket is focused on communications from a advertising creative agency to the publisher. It is comprised of selected fields from the AdsML(http://www.adsml.org/) Ad Ticket schema, with additional GWG Ad ticket fields. Delivery Note uses four additional fields in the GWG Ad Ticket namespace to desribe multiple insertions of an ad into multiple publications. Initial use is for communications from Media Agency to Creative Agency.

Ghent PDF Workgroup standard is used by the Medibel+ (http://www.medibelplus.be/) association of Belgian companies in the advertising industry. Medibel+ has adopted GWG Ad Ticket in its current Acrobat for Mac Plug-ins. Previously, MetaGrove provided a separate dialog for Medibel Ad Ticket, that used the older, unique, namespace. The new GWG Ad Ticket dialog handles the Medibel+ fields.

Details and Screenshots

The MetaGrove Ghent PDF Workgroup (GWG) Ad Ticket dialog is compliant with the released Ad Ticket specification (GWG_v1.1_AD) dated November 13, 2008 and the released Delivery Note specification (GWG_v1_DN) July 7, 2009.
